Tom van der Dussen
Cluster Manager 'Semiconductors' at High Tech NL

Since 2021 Tom van der Dussen leads the High Tech NL cluster Semiconductors. Supported by a team of experts he plays an important role towards the 100+ companies within this cluster and towards the wide ecosystem within the Netherlands. The High Tech NL Semiconductors cluster is recognized as a ‘first point of contact’ within the Dutch industry and has close bonds with politics, international companies and parties, but also similar communities around the world. Among others Tom strives to unite and bond all individual companies. Via this way they exchange knowledge, create (international) partnerships to develop new innovations and of course increase their companies business. Close partnerships and mutual interests are most important to stay or become in the global lead.

About Tom personally: Tom has a 20+ year background in sales and marketing, global business development. Started his professional career at Philips in Eindhoven, worked within IT companies for 8 years and travelled the world for a Philips Lighting spin-off company. Grew up in Eindhoven, still lives in the Brabant province, to relax he spends time in the gym, likes to brew his own beer and has lots of books he still wants to read.
